About me

For 15 years I have helped individuals and families overcome adversity, find emotional balance and look ahead, as they create a new and better path for themselves. Before becoming a social worker, I studied fine arts at the University of Toronto and psychology at Concordia University. I later pursued a bachelor and master’s degree in social work. My practice is centered on attachment and trauma-informed therapies, which can help with issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions, and other distressing life experiences. I am an EMDR Trained Clinician and registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

My approach to therapy is grounded in humanistic and anti-oppressive orientations, which seek to empower, motivate and inspire you to achieve your goals. I recognize how oppression and other sources of emotional pain can contribute to symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use issues. My practice offers a therapeutic experience that is highly collaborative and based on your individual needs/situation. I will listen to your story with great humility and compassion, while offering a safe place for you to explore what you feel needs to change in your life.
